As the authorities have approved the feasibility of our flight, we can now confirm the rescheduling of flights SB500 (Nouméa–Bangkok–Paris) and SB501 (Paris–Bangkok–Nouméa), initially planned for September 6th, 2025, as follows (local time):

SB500 Nouméa – Bangkok – Paris

• Departure from Nouméa: 2:25 PM on September 6th

• Arrival in Bangkok: 8:45 PM on September 6th

• Departure from Bangkok: 10:45 PM on September 6th

• Arrival in Paris: 6:30 AM on September 7th

SB501 Paris – Bangkok – Nouméa

• Departure from Paris: 10:55 AM on September 7th

• Arrival in Bangkok: 3:45 AM on September 8th

• Departure from Bangkok: 5:45 AM on September 8th

• Arrival in Nouméa: 7:35 PM on September 8th

Passengers with connecting flights in Bangkok or Paris included in the same booking will receive their updated itineraries by email.

Aircalin

Due to adjustments in our flight schedule, flights SB500 Nouméa–Bangkok–Paris and SB501 Paris–Bangkok–Nouméa, originally scheduled for September 6th, 2025, are currently being rescheduled.

As the revised timings are subject to airport slot approvals in Bangkok and Paris, they are still pending confirmation. 

A new email with the updated schedule will be sent to affected passengers once confirmation is received, expected by the end of the day.

Here are the planned timings (local time):

SB500 Nouméa – Bangkok – Paris

• Departure from Nouméa: 2:25 PM on September 6th

• Arrival in Bangkok: 8:45 PM on September 6th

• Departure from Bangkok: 10:45 PM on September 6th

• Arrival in Paris: 6:30 AM on September 7th

SB501 Paris – Bangkok – Nouméa

• Departure from Paris: 10:55 AM on September 7th

• Arrival in Bangkok: 3:45 AM on September 8th

Due to operational constraints, flight SB501 Paris–Bangkok–Nouméa, currently en route on September 5th, will experience a delay on the Bangkok–Nouméa segment.

SB501 Paris–Bangkok–Nouméa (rescheduled – local times)

• Departure from Bangkok: September 5th at 7:30 PM

• Arrival in Nouméa: September 6th at 9:20 AM

Update on 04/09/2025 at 3:00 p.m. (Nouméa time)

The technical issue that occurred on our A330neo, located in the engine start system, has been identified, repaired, and the aircraft is now back in service. We sincerely apologize to our passengers for the inconvenience caused.

SB500 Nouméa–Bangkok–Paris (rescheduled – local times)

• Departure from Nouméa: 4 September at 20:00

• Arrival in Bangkok: 5 September at 02:10

⚠️ Due to the delay caused by this rescheduling, the Bangkok–Paris CDG sector will not be operated by Aircalin.
Passengers will be rebooked to Paris or their final destination on other international carriers. A waiting time in Bangkok may be necessary; all costs related to the waiting time and stay will be fully covered by the airline.

SB501 Paris–Bangkok–Nouméa (rescheduled – local times)

• Departure from Paris: 4 September at 20:45

• Arrival in Bangkok: 5 September at 13:35

• Departure from Bangkok: 5 September at 15:40

• Arrival in Nouméa: 6 September at 05:30

For passengers with connecting flights, your new itinerary will be communicated shortly. Our teams are currently finalizing the connections and will contact each passenger from Noumea individually to confirm the itinerary and arrival time at their destination.

Update – September 3, 2025 – 8:00 PM (Local Time – Noumea)

Following a technical issue on its A330neo aircraft (registration F-ONEO), Aircalin has been forced to suspend flights SB500 (Noumea–Bangkok–Paris) and SB501 (Paris–Bangkok–Noumea) scheduled for September 3.

The delivery of spare parts and engine inspections are ongoing to determine the available options and the expected time for the aircraft to return to service.

Aircalin teams are actively working on rebooking all affected passengers, both departing and arriving.

Each passenger will be contacted individually to confirm new itineraries, in a context where re-routing options via Australia are currently very limited.

The new schedules will be communicated as soon as possible.

Aircalin sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience caused and thanks its passengers for their understanding and patience. The safety and comfort of our passengers remain the airline’s top priorities.

All other flights scheduled for tomorrow will operate as normal.

Update – September 3, 2025 – 3:00 PM (Local Time – Noumea)

Our technical teams are continuing their work to return the aircraft to service as quickly as possible.

An update will be provided between 6 PM and 8 PM with a detailed status regarding a possible rescheduling of your flight SB500 Noumea-Bangkok-Paris later this evening or tomorrow.

Aircalin informs its passengers that due to an technical issue, flights SB500 Noumea-Bangkok-Paris and flight SB501 Paris-Bangkok-Noumea of the 3rd of September are suspended waiting a reschedule 

Passengers will be contacted by our teams as soon as a new schedule will be confirmed.

Other scheduled flights operate normaly.
